Prince Harry, Jony Ive, Neal Stephenson, Timnit Gebru, and more will discuss some of the biggest challenges facing humanity.
Our world is facing some of the most critical challenges of all time. While the past decade ushered in dramatic technological acceleration, the last 18 months have kicked off a tectonic societal shift in how we live, work, and connect. Generating sustainable and strategic solutions to these challengesâ"from both communal action and heroic innovationâ"requires us to rewire the public discourse and even how we think. Welcome to the first RE:WIRED.
Today weâre announcing a slate of new speakers and sessions for the event, which takes place November 9 and 10. Itâs a series of virtual conversations between technologists and leaders in science, cybersecurity, art, and entertainment who are thinking hard about the consequences of technology on society, economics, sustainability, and our future.
âAt WIRED, we tell the stories of the people working on the worldâs biggest challenges,â says WIREDâs global editorial director, Gideon Lichfield. âI look forward to hearing from each one of our speakers at RE:WIRED because whether their work ends in success or failure, or is still in progress, we can learn a huge amount by discussing the tough issues with the planetâs most determined problem solvers.â
RE:WIRED speakers include:
